Financial Support

We’re committed to making a quality education accessible to deserving students. In addition to our scholarships and awards, the bursaries and financial support options below can help you with tuition costs. First, review our Scholarships and Awards page to see what you’re eligible for.

Canada Student Loans

Booth University College has been designated as an eligible institution under the Canada Student Loan Act (Institutional Code – DPAP). Financial assistance may be available to those who qualify. Application forms may be secured from the Minister of Education, Student Aid Branch, in the relevant province. Canada Student Loans are open to all legal residents of Canada for application to Booth University College. Students are urged to make early application. For more information, please visit the Government of Canada’s student loan website.

The Manitoba government is currently in the process of integrating some of the administration of the Manitoba Student Aid (MSA) program with the Canada Student Financial Assistance (CSFA) program. This means that the loan disbursement and repayment of Manitoba student loans will be managed by the National Student Loans Service Centre (NSLSC)

Manitoba and Out-of-province student aid recipients are also subject to the fee payment deadlines. Any disbursements received will be automatically paid towards the tuition owing for the semester. Any remaining funds will be forwarded to the student.

Indigenous and Northern Affairs Canada (INAC)’s Post-Secondary Student Support Program (PSSSP)

The Government of Canada offers financial assistance to eligible First Nation and Inuit students pursuing post-secondary education. Visit the Government website for more information.

Tuition Discount for Senior Learners

Learners 65 years of age or older may, upon presentation of proof of age, enrol in Booth University College courses for credit or audit without paying tuition. Standard course fees apply and a $50.00 per course administration fee is assessed and payable on enrolment. A maximum of 15% enrollment in any course will be comprised of such tuition-free learners. Such seats are allotted on a first come first served basis after all fee-paying students are enrolled in a course.
